What remote control airplane is better?

1. First of all, I will assume your son is old enough for such a toy If he has zero experience, then I would go with the yellow glider. It's probably more stable and therefore won't be as frustrating to learn on. While the fighter is definitely cooler looking, if it's true to the original, it won't be that stable. A real fighter plane is inherently unstable, that's what makes it so maneuverable. If your son has at least a little flying experience, then you might gamble on the P-51. By the way, has your son ANY radio control experience? If not, a car or boat might be a better choice, as a radio control model is, in some ways, harder to operate than the real thing since you don't have feedback on the controls, and you don't have first person perspective.
